Great Wolf Lodge Poconos in Scotrun has a 120,000-square-foot indoor waterpark kept at 84°F all year. You don't have to stay at the lodge to swim: day passes start at $35.
The homes on this page are in Pocono Lake, Pocono Pines, Pocono Summit and Blakeslee, about 25 to 30 minutes away. Families get bedrooms, a kitchen and a game room for the price of a hotel suite, and still spend the day at the waterpark.
The waterpark
- Alberta Falls, a four-story tandem tube slide, plus the Slidewinder and other big slides (most need riders to be at least 42 inches tall).
- Fort Mackenzie's giant tipping bucket, the Crooked Creek lazy river and the Slap Tail Pond wave pool.
- Cub Paw Pool for toddlers.
- Life jackets are free, first come, first served, and recommended for kids under 48 inches. Inflatables aren't allowed.
Day pass tips
- Passes are limited and dates can sell out, so buy online before you go.
- The full-day pass runs from opening to close; the half-day pass starts at 4 PM.
- Everyone who enters needs a pass, even if they won't swim. Kids 2 and under are free.
- MagiQuest, the lodge's interactive game, is open to the public too.
