Lake Naomi is the Poconos' classic lake club: a 277-acre, non-motorized lake for sailing and paddling, with five islands, four lifeguarded summer beaches and a member-owned club of about 1,400 families.
It's in Pocono Pines in Tobyhanna Township, about 10 minutes from Kalahari's indoor waterpark and 20 minutes from Camelback, so a week here mixes quiet lake mornings with plenty to do nearby.
The lake and club
Beyond Lake Naomi itself, the club has Tall Timber Lake, Deer Trail Lake, Judges Pond and a stocked trout pond. On land there's a lakeside pool with a water slide and climbing wall, the Logan Steele Community Center (indoor pool, sauna, steam room and fitness), 18 tennis courts, pickleball and Timber Trails golf.
How renter access works
Club amenities require a Temporary Membership, which works best for Saturday-to-Saturday weekly stays in Lake Naomi or Timber Trails homes. Each home has a limited number of memberships, applications are due at least 48 hours ahead, and some activities (golf, courts, boat rental) cost extra. If the beaches and pools are the point of your trip, plan a full week and ask your host to arrange the membership.
Things to do nearby
- Kalahari's indoor waterpark, about 10 minutes away.
- Camelback's slopes and Aquatopia waterpark, about 20 minutes.
- Jack Frost skiing and Pocono Raceway, about 15–20 minutes.
Good to know before you book
Tobyhanna Township permits apply here: 2-night minimum, a cap of 2 people per bedroom (maximum 10), and renters must be 25 or older. Every host on our site is responsible for the home's township short-term rental permit. Your host will confirm house rules, occupancy limits and any community passes before you arrive.
