Misty Mountain Chalet - Arcade, Fire Pit & More
About this home
Misty Mountain Chalet is a classic A-frame on a private wooded lot inside Arrowhead Lakes, a gated community in Pocono Lake. With three bedrooms, a game loft and room for up to 10 guests, it suits families and groups who want quiet woods, a great room flooded with natural light and a loft full of games for rainy afternoons.
The great room has cathedral ceilings, walls of glass facing the trees, hardwood floors and an oversized wraparound sectional set in front of a stone fireplace that runs on propane, so it lights with a switch and needs no firewood. The sage-green kitchen is open to the living area and well equipped, with a full-size refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, air fryer, toaster oven, electric kettle and a coffee station with both a Keurig and a drip maker. The dining table seats six. Bedroom one has a queen and a double bed, bedroom two a king, and bedroom three a queen, and each has its own Roku TV and mini-split for separate climate control. The open loft adds two twin beds. There is a full bath with a tub on the main level and a half bath upstairs.
The loft is also the game room, with a full-size air hockey table, a retro cocktail arcade cabinet with 422 games, a giant Connect 4 and board games under the A-frame beams. Outside, a huge wraparound deck has seating, a bistro table and a propane grill, and a stone fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs is the place to be after dark.
Arrowhead Lakes offers a community lake, beach and pool through a temporary association membership, along with a recreation center gym, courts for basketball, pickleball and volleyball, and horseshoe pits. Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Camelback, Kalahari, Lake Harmony and Pocono Raceway are all within an easy drive. The gravel driveway parks up to five vehicles, and there is a washer and dryer plus a workspace. Please confirm the pet policy with the host before you travel with a dog.
