About this home
Built in 2022, this chalet in Blakeslee sits back on a wooded lot where the view out every window is trees. It sleeps ten across four bedrooms and two and a half baths, and it was clearly designed for group trips: a dramatic great room, a full game level downstairs, a real cedar sauna and a hot tub in the yard. For families or friends hunting for a Poconos rental with a hot tub, game room and sauna in one place, it checks every box.
The great room climbs two full stories under exposed beams. Stonework runs from floor to rafters around a gas fireplace, and angled glass fills the far wall so the forest feels like part of the room. A single oversized sectional holds the whole group. Cooks get deep blue cabinetry, quartz countertops and matching stainless appliances, along with a Nespresso machine, a drip brewer and a stand mixer. Ten people fit at the long dining table, six more can perch at the counter, and sliding doors lead right out to the deck.
All four bedrooms share one floor. The primary suite pairs a king bed with a second stone gas fireplace and a private bathroom where a freestanding tub waits for a long soak. Another room also has a king, a third has a queen, and the bunk room holds two sets of wood twin-over-twin bunks plus a twin trundle. Each room comes with a smart TV of its own. Downstairs, the game level packs in skee-ball, a lighted shuffleboard table, pool, a stand-up arcade machine and a chess table, with a big sectional facing a large screen. The cedar sauna is heated by hot rocks and lined with benches for the group.
Outside, the upper deck has two dining tables, a Traeger pellet smoker and string lights, while the covered patio below has wicker sofa seating and a pair of egg chairs that hang from above. A hot tub for six rests on a dedicated pad near a steel fire bowl ringed by eight Adirondack chairs. Practical extras include an EV charger, central air and heat, fast Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, a gravel driveway and smart-lock self check-in. Pets are not listed as allowed, so confirm with the host before planning around one.
