Arrowhead Lakes is a private, gated lake community in Pocono Lake built around two lakes: Arrowhead Lake at 235 acres and North Arrowhead Lake at 86 acres. Boats are electric-motor-only at no-wake speed, which keeps the water calm for kayaks, swimmers and fishing.
With four sandy beaches, three heated outdoor pools and a lodge with a game room and fitness center, it's one of the most amenity-rich communities in the Poconos for a summer family vacation.
The lakes and amenities
Arrowhead's lakes are stocked every March, with trout in spring, and bass under 20 inches are catch-and-release. There are four sandy beaches with playgrounds, three heated outdoor pools, sports courts, the Lodge with a fitness center and game room, and a rental shack for kayaks and bikes.
How renter access works
Every guest needs an access pass for community amenities, and pools and some amenities run from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pets are welcome in many homes but aren't allowed on beaches, playgrounds or in pools, and fireworks carry a $500 fine. Renters also pay community membership fees and must register ahead, so book early and let your host handle the paperwork.
Things to do nearby
