5BR New Construction A-Frame Chalet in Towamensing Trails | Sleeps 14
About this home
Groups of up to 14 will find plenty of elbow room in this newly built A-frame in Albrightsville's Towamensing Trails community. With five bedrooms and three full bathrooms, it handles extended families and friend trips with ease. From the driveway you notice the steep roofline, the vertical-plank exterior and tall triangular glass, and a covered deck runs around the house. The lot is private and wooded, and a creek flows along the back of the property, with a path from the yard down to the water.
The interior is warm and open. Pine boards line the ceilings, and the kitchen, dining room and living space share one big room, so nobody is cut off while dinner is cooking. Stainless steel appliances and a generous island make the kitchen easy for a crowd, and a long farmhouse-style table with benches gives everyone a seat at mealtime. There are two living areas for spreading out, plus an upstairs loft with rocking chairs that looks down into the main room through those signature angled windows.
Across the five bedrooms you get a blend of king and queen beds in rustic log frames along with twin beds, which works well for parents with kids or several couples sharing the house. Three full baths keep the morning rush short, and a stackable washer and dryer means you can pack lighter for a longer visit. Air conditioning, heat, Wi-Fi and a spot set aside for remote work are all included, and a grill is on hand for outdoor cooking.
Staying in Towamensing Trails means guests can use the private lake, the seasonal pool, the clubhouse, sports courts and a playground (the HOA requires vehicle badges). Jack Frost and Big Boulder are close for ski days, while the Lehigh Gorge and Hickory Run State Park are nearby for hiking and river days. Parking is free on site. Pets are not allowed at this Albrightsville vacation home.
