Pocono Tree House with Hot Tub, Privacy & Woods
About this home
This modern five-bedroom, three-bath chalet in Cresco sits on seven private wooded acres above a rushing creek, about 5 minutes from Mount Pocono. It sleeps up to 10 and is a memorable choice for families who want a Poconos rental with a hot tub and real privacy, plus one feature you rarely see: a hand-built tree house reached straight from the living room.
The main level combines kitchen, dining and living space around a wood-burning fireplace, with cozy corners for reading and smart TVs for streaming your own apps. Sleeping is flexible and every space has a door or curtain for privacy. The loft has a king bed, a queen trundle and its own bathroom; the main-floor bedroom has a queen bed next to the main bath; and a semi-private queen space off the living area overlooks the second living area and the covered porch. The newly finished walkout lower level adds a front room with two queen beds and a back room with a queen-over-full bunk and a queen with a twin trundle, separated by barn doors, along with a third full bathroom with a tub.
Outside, the tree house has two hammocks where you can see and hear the creek below. The hot tub is open year-round, two outdoor decks give the group room to spread out, and there are two fire pits, one by the house and one down by the creek. A BBQ area covers cookouts.
For a quiet wooded setting, the location is very convenient. Mount Airy Casino is about 8 minutes away, Kalahari about 12, Great Wolf Lodge about 15, and Camelback's ski area and waterpark about 19. The Knob Overlook is roughly 3 miles away, Tobyhanna State Park is about 18 minutes, and Bushkill Falls is about 43. Parking is free and Wi-Fi reaches the whole house. If you are hoping to bring a dog, talk with the host about the pet policy before booking.
